Yani Tseng is a Taiwanese professional golfer who was born on January 23, 1989 in Taipei, Taiwan. She turned professional in 2007 and quickly rose to become one of the top players in women's golf.
Tseng has won numerous tournaments on the LPGA Tour, including major championships such as the Women's British Open and the LPGA Championship. In 2011, she became the youngest player in history, male or female, to win five major championships.
Tseng has held the number one ranking in the Women's World Golf Rankings multiple times throughout her career and is considered one of the greatest female golfers of all time. She has also been inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
